About the artist:
| 华裔水墨画家戴爱儿在香港出生与成长，八十年代随家人移居加拿大, 离港前曾跟黎毓熙(林风眠与潘天寿之第子)习国画。 唯移加后忙于学业与工作而疏于练习，直至多年后一次严重意外伤及颈椎，待在家中休养时重拾画笔，才领略到水墨之玄妙。 戴爱儿的水墨画简约，清新，又带点童心。她那中西融合的画风正好反影她在加拿大与香港的生活体验。
她作画随心所欲，顺其自然...正如她做人之态度...逍遥自在,乐其在中。。

戴爱儿获邀成为国际中国书法国画家协会( ICCPS)之创会成员。ICCPS总部设在日本东京,成员来自不同国家包括中国，日本，美国，加拿大，法国，比利时，荷兰，德国，波兰，西班牙，阿根廷，俄罗斯，克罗地亚和澳大利亚。
Oi Yee has been invited and inducted as a premiere member of the International Chinese Calligraphic Art and Ink Painters Society. This international sumi-e society is made up of artists with different backgrounds and styles from China, Japan, the United States, Canada, France, Belgium, Netherlands, Germany, Poland, Spain, Argentina, Russia, Croatia and Australia.

戴爱儿受邀为加拿大艺术关爱癌症基金会举办水墨画工作坊,旨在帮助癌症病人，他们的家人和照顾者, 令他们得到艺术的慰藉. Oi Yee was a guest artist invited by the Art for Cancer Foundation to conduct art workshops aiming at helping those living with cancer, their families and caregivers.The Art for Cancer Foundation carried on its meaningful mission in Toronto for a decade until 2020.
